Synopsis:
Marie's stepmother mistreats her and makes her work as a maid, cleaning up dirt and ashes, thus earning her the nickname "Cinderella". In contrast, her stepsister Clothilde is pampered and spoiled. One day, two servants to the king, Peter and Leonhard, deliver an invitation to the Royal Ball.
